Allow yourself to be enchanted by these delightful Regency Christmas romances.

Once Upon a Christmas Rogue
A woman seeking a killer infiltrates the war department only to find herself matched with an irresistible spymaster.

A shopkeeper soon discovers that kissing the man she’s determined to hate is so much better than being his enemy.

A rake with no interest in wallflowers or bluestockings is enchanted when he finds both in the form of one woman.

A duke determined to woo a beautiful widow and make her his own. Only she has no interest in marrying again.

A rogue and a lady give in to their passion. Now everything they hold dear is in jeopardy—most of all their hearts.

A lady is neglected by her betrothed. Until he sees her at a ball and must ask why he’s been trying to avoid her.

A duke with an icy heart finds himself falling for the one woman he was never supposed to love…his wife.

A countess, now a stranger to her husband after a riding accident makes him forget her, fights to reclaim his love.

For the first time, you can get these eight previously published books in one must-read bundle.

1 ~ Heather Snow ~ The Very Debonair Lady Claire

2 ~ Sophie Barnes ~ Miss Compton’s Christmas Romance

Synopsis:

Sometimes playing pretend can lead to the perfect romance…

51EOsD7tSYLWhen Miss Leonora Compton decides to go to Sheffield and spend Christmas with her sister, she finds herself travelling with a man she cannot afford to like. But as their journey progresses she enters an unexpected partnership with him and realizes that things aren’t what they seem. Because Mr. Dalton is not only tempting. He may in fact be precisely what she needs.

When Philip believes his travel companion requires protection, he immediately steps in to help by pretending to be her husband. For although the last thing he wants is to form an attachment, Philip is irrevocably drawn to the stunning red-head. And as they become better acquainted and their paths increasingly intertwined, he must decide if risking heartache again is worth the chance of finding true love.

My Review:

When Miss Leonora Compton decides to go to Sheffield and spend Christmas with her sister, she finds herself travelling with a man she cannot afford to like.
When Philip believes his travel companion requires protection, he immediately steps in to help by pretending to be her husband.
Mistaken as a friend of Leonora’s new landlord Phillip is anything but the despicable man he is thought to be. Once this misunderstanding is straightened out these two embark on a destiny that quickly progresses in this wonderful Christmas novella.
I read this book in short order. It only requires your attention for under 2 hours time. I gave this short holiday romantic read 4.8 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization. This is a sweet and endearing regency read.
I received a complimentary ARC by invitation from the author. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

3 ~Tammy Andresen ~ Taming a Christmas Wallflower

4 ~ Collette Cameron ~ A December With a Duke

5 ~ Amanda Mariel ~ Her Perfect Rogue

6 ~ Ellie St. Clair ~ Duke of Christmas

7 ~ Jillian Eaton ~ The Winter Duchess

8 ~ Bree Wolf ~ The Forgotten Wife

Twenty-seven historical romances to enjoy

WEDDED IN WINTER
by Scarlett Scott

HELL’S WEDDING BELLS
by Annabelle Anders

I received an ARC of this title by Annabelle Anders which is only one of the books in this 27 best-selling international author collection.
Lady Lila Breton is about to be wed to a man she has never met before. Will he be old and decrepit or the man of her dreams?
Vincent St. Pierre is that groom. He must marry Lila in order to wipe clean a debt to her father that the previous Duke, his deceased brother owed. Not only did he leave the Dukedom destitute upon his suicidal death, he left Vincent with an unwanted bride also.
Lila is not at all what Vincent expected. Not only is she a beauty but quite intelligent and more than willing to help him with the accounts which are in disarray.
What Lila finds is a surprise to them both. Not only did Vincent’s brother not take his own life, he was murdered. The person at the top of Lila’s list of suspects is someone she fears but she doesn’t dare tell Vincent as it may endanger his life also.
I gave this tale 4.25 of 5.0 stars for story line and characterization.
I read this novella twice. Now that this collection has released I will be reading more of this collection.
I received a complimentary copy of this tale which is part of this collection. This in no way affected my opinion of this novella which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

TWO LADY SCOUNDRELS AND A DUKE
by Tessa Candle

A WICKED WEDDING
by Laura Trentham

THE HOLIDAY HUSSY
by Merry Farmer

MISCHIEF AND MISTLETOE
by Stacy Reid

I also received an ARC of Stacy Reid’s contribution to this lengthy anthology in addition to Hell’s Wedding Bells from Annabelle Anders.
Callisto Middleton desires to see her mother married to the Earl of Deerwood and, unknown to the couple, plans to help their romance along! Deerwood’s son Graham, Viscount Sherbrooke, intends to stop the mischief but finds himself irresistibly drawn to the scheming minx. Once in close quarters, mistletoe enflames the situation and passion ignite.
Who could imagine that mother and daughter would be attracted to father and son?
This tale happens to be my favorite so far but I have only completed two of these twenty seven stories and started reading another. This anthology may last me into the new year.
I gave this tale 4.5 of 5.0 stars. This one was a bit more steamy than Annabelle Anders contribution.
Both novellas are very good reads though and now that the collection has released and I have bought it I will be wading my way through this extensive collection.
