Starting a Christmas tale with a suicide may seem an awful beginning to this romance but the author truly made it work. I thought when I read this prologue, How can this tragic tale possibly end.
It progressed a little slowly but progress it did.
Nichlas has not celebrated the holiday since that tragic night when his new bride took her own life. His concentration is one of revenge on the man responsible for that tragedy.
This book is filled with tragedy, a budding new love and the mystery of who the scoundrel is that caused the tragic beginning to Nicholas’s first marriage.
This novella is one that you will not want to miss.
I received a complimentary ARC of this title from Author’s Pal and also from Hidden Gems.
This in no way affected my opinion of this novella which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
