Synopsis:
Lady Henrietta Zetland is definitely not looking for love again after being widowed so young. She cannot provide the heirs most husbands desire, so is quite happy to abandon the trappings of the ton and the London Season for country life. Yet the moment she meets Marcus Duncan, the new Marquess Zetland, the passion she has long suppressed returns to life and overwhelms all good sense and propriety.
Becoming a marquess is just what Marcus Duncan needs to save his crumbling Scottish estate. His travels to England to oversee his newly acquired estates throw him into the path of his cousin’s widow. Marcus is instantly charmed by Henrietta, and when a passionate love affair ensues the last thing he expects is to lose his heart to her. Wanting more, he fears that the secret he’s hiding will drive her away…but Henrietta has a secret of her own that could separate them forever.
My Thoughts:
Lady Henrietta Zetland, Marchioness of Zetland is definitely not looking for love again after being widowed so young. Most men need an heir and Henrietta can’t provide one. This is her secret but Marcus has one also.
Becoming a marquess is just what Marcus Duncan needs to save his crumbling Scottish estate. Marcus is instantly charmed by Henrietta, and then a passionate love affair ensues. This attraction is not what either expect.
This tender second chance romance title is just what I have come to expect from this author. This book is captivating and the characters and story are well crafted. I loved this couple and all they stood for.
I gave this book 4.8 of 5.0 stars for story line and characterization. There is a bit of spice in the intimate scenes that tantalizes but not so avert as to turn you off.
A sincere thank you, Ms. Gill for coming back to a style I have come to expect from Tamara Gill books as the last one I read from this series disappointed me.

Synopsis:
Two years ago, English noblewoman, Elyssia De Montford, risked her life to free the Highlander held prisoner by her sadistic fiancé. She cannot forget the man who first stirred her heart–a memory that burns anew when she finds herself once more on the road to Scotland.
Tavish MacLean has sworn vengeance. It’s been six years since his beloved sister was raped and murdered by an English lord, a tragedy which almost destroyed his family. On his deathbed, his father demanded retribution and Tavish pledged before his clan to enslave the lord’s daughter then send her back to her father, pregnant with a Scottish bastard. When he learns that she is travelling north, he seizes his opportunity and orders her abduction.
But when his men fling the prisoner beforehim, Tavish recognises Elyssia, the woman who once saved his life. Loyalty to his clan trumps the debt he owes her and he claims Elyssia as his captive. Though she’s one of the hated English, her willing body ignites passion in him at night, though she fights him at every turn during the day. As time passes, he questions his loyalty, finding himself increasingly enthralled by his fiery captive.
Treachery surrounds Clan MacLean.
When long-buried secrets come to light, Tavish must risk his life and his clan, or all that he holds dear will be destroyed.
