Synopsis:
Twelfth Night
After the life-changing events of Christmastide, the Lyons Pride is attempting to move forward. Romance, however, is on Lord Gervase’s mind as he plans a special celebration for his beloved Margaret on Twelfth Night. Meanwhile, the annual Servants’ Ball promises surprise and intrigue for those both upstairs and downstairs…
Epiphany
Tilda James is an impeccable lady’s maid. Simon Farnsworth is an ideal gentleman’s gentleman. Both agree that their employers are perfect for each other and decide to encourage their budding romance. But will an upstairs match lead to a downstairs love affair, especially when old secrets come to light?
My Thoughts:
This is a charming pair of Christmas romance stories. The first one is very short but informative non the less. I had not read the opening story in this series but still found both of these, one very short and the other more lengthy very well written and enjoyable.
I gave this pair of tales 4.25 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization. This is a pair of clean/sweet regencies with no real intimacy.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this title which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

A Note From The Author About This Collection:
I am delighted to announce the release of Intimate Delights, a Lyons Pride collection containing my re-issued Twelfth Night and a brand-new novella, Epiphany!
Lengthwise, Twelfth Night is more of a novelette, but Epiphany is close to the maximum length for a novella, so the word counts balance out!
Both are set during Christmastide 1888, at the same house party covered in Devices & Desires, which I do recommend reading first, because both novellas contain spoilers for that book.
Because Twelfth Night and Epiphany overlap at several junctures, it felt right to publish them as a collection. I also think the two stories complement each other, and are the better for being read together. However, for those who have already purchased Twelfth Night and are reluctant to buy the same story twice–which is perfectly understandable–I will be releasing a standalone digital edition of Epiphany after the New Year. A print edition of Intimate Delights is also forthcoming, once I’m satisfied with the galleys.
Happy reading!

Publishers Description:
Joanna Shupe returns to New York City’s fabulous Gilded Age, where anything is possible…
After losing his beloved wife, department store owner Alexander Armstrong seems incapable of anything other than work, despite his ache to be a better father to his daughter.
When he encounters Grace, a charming shop girl designing the store’s holiday window displays, he struggles to accept that perhaps miracles do happen in the most unlikely of places…
My Thoughts:
Read and reviewed at Goodreads 12/25/2017
This was my first time reading one of Joanna’s Gilded Age Romance books.
Grace has ventured out on her own. She moved to the big city from the countryside of Pennsylvania.
She has a job being underpaid by her immediate supervisor. Forced to stay late into the evenings to complete the holiday window displays she unknowingly meets one of the store’s co-owners and becomes friends with him.
She has no idea who Alex is. Later she meets his young daughter still unaware that the man she has become a bit more than friends with is this precocious child’s father.
I gave this book 4.75 of 5.0 stars for storyline and character development and a sensual rating of 3.75 of 5.0 flames.
This is a sweet romance with just a touch of spice.
I will be looking for additional books from this series to read and enjoy.
