Sometimes love is waiting in the second act…
In her professional career, Ella Mancini plays matchmaker at Two Love Lane but, in her personal life, she takes the stage at the Dock Street Theatre. Now she has a chance at a new role in a Hollywood movie that happens to be filming in Charleston—one that features a big-name actress, Samantha Drake. Long ago, Ella passed up a major audition while awaiting a marriage proposal. Not only didn’t she get the role; she never got the ring, either. Instead, her boyfriend Hank went on to become a huge film star…leaving her, and all her dreams, behind.
But now Hank’s back in Charleston, cast as the male lead in the same movie Ella’s in. In spite of the dramatic tension off-screen, he and Ella try to stay cool onset. But when their old feelings start to heat up—at the same time leading-lady Samantha tries to play cupid—all bets are off. How can Hank convince Ella, after all this time, that she’s the one he really wants to be with in real life—and that some happy, rom-com endings really can come true?

This is the third book in this Two Love lane series and I have read them all. These quirky contemporary titles are well written and each can stand on it’s own but are better if read as a series in the order they were released. There are characters that tie them together and getting to know these funny and quirky individuals is what makes these books really good.
This is your somewhat usual second chance romance with an emphasis on a second time around.
This is Ella’s story. If you have read the series you have already met her and know a bit about her.
With the return of her former boyfriend Hank, to Charleston will Ella take a second chance at love that left her spurned in the past.
The movie that they are both cast in has thrown this pair back together but will they need a more than gentle nudge back into each other’s arms.
I was initially introduced to this author through her historical romance, that being my usual genre but I must say her contemporary titles are equally well written and I have enjoyed every one I have read.
I gave this book 4.25 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization.
I don’t read much contemporary romance but being a southerner and a South Carolinian the location alone drew me in and made me want to read more when it came to this series.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book from the publisher by invitation to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

Never say never when it comes to love.
Greer Jones has made a real name for herself at the elegant matchmaking agency Two Love Lane. For a lot of reasons—including a past engagement she broke off—practical tech expert Greer is more interested in the business of love than the experience of it, but she can’t help but covet a gorgeous wedding gown that’s the prize in an upcoming cocktail-party contest. In a moment of brazen inspiration, Greer asks a handsome Brit she’s only just met to accompany her to the party. He agrees—and Greer believes her date is a starving artist. Little does she know the truth. . .
Ford Smith, as he calls himself, is actually Stanford Elliott Wentworth Smythe, the Eighth Baron of Wickshire. Fresh off a breakup with a money-grubbing siren who deceived him all the way to the altar, Ford has no desire to fall in love—especially with Greer who, like the desired wedding gown, is beautiful but only skin-deep.
But soon Ford realizes that there’s more to Greer than meets the eye. Her professionalism is matched only by her passion for life and love. . .and, best of all, she has no idea that he’s to the manor born.
Could it be that true love is priceless after all?

This is the second book I have read by this author in this series and this genre.
Even though I read mostly historical romance books, after I read Christmas At Two Love Lane and was offered this one to read as well I couldn’t resist.
I really loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the well constructed storyline and the characters, some of which we met in the first book.
Greer is a romantic at heart and has made books and plans for her dream wedding for years. She is a partner at Two Love Lane, a Charleston, SC based agency known for their matchmaking capabilities.
Ford is a member of the English aristocracy and a talented artist. He is fresh off a break up with a fortune hunter who he was certain he was in love with. After being deceived by his ex he has no desire to fall in love again.
He is entranced by Greer at first sight and follows her to an auction where she spies a wedding gown she just has to have.
She tries to enlist Ford as a partner so she won’t be out bid.
When the dress ends up as the prize in a contest set up by the auction winner, Greer enters and still enlists Ford’s assistance.
Ford asks only one thing, that Greer poses for a portrait.
How will this tale end?
I couldn’t put down this book. This is a sexy and delightful romance with unexpected twists and turns.
I gave this story 4.75 of 5.0 stars for storyline and character development and a sensual rating of 4 of 5 flames
There is not an abundance of physical intimacy in this tale, but just enough to wet the reader’s appetite.
I received an invitation from the publisher to read this book. I received a complimentary digital ARC from them via NetGalley to read and review.
This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
Christmas at Two Love Lane
Two Love Lane , Book #1
E-Book Price: $7.99
The best gift of all is the one you share with someone else. . .
From the moment he strode through the iron gate and into the offices of Two Love Lane on a crisp December day, it was obvious that Deacon Banks was something different. He wasn’t a Charleston native, not with that adorable Yankee accent. And unlike the usual client at the elegant matchmaking agency, he had no interest in finding a woman to marry—just a few no-strings dates while he was in town.
Macy Frost takes her professional services very seriously—how could she not, when she’s rumored to be a direct descendant of Cupid? Tech entrepreneur Deacon says he’s just trying to make his social-climbing aunt happy by being seen out and about with a few prominent beauties, but Macy insists she can make her client fall in love…for real. And Deacon can’t help but think she might be right. As charming as the palmetto trees and magnificent harbor may be, it’s the beautiful, breath-of-fresh-air Macy who’s become Deacon’s favorite part of the scenery. But can the hopelessly romantic Southern belle stop trying to fix him up and just let Cupid do his work on her own heart?

Situated in a beloved South Carolina locale, this fun Christmas Romance is not to be missed. With quirky characters and an abundance of sensual dialogue Kieran Kramer has written a holiday romance for the keeper shelf.
This poignant, sexy and fun book is well written bringing the reader to both laughter and tears.
Deacon and Macy are the perfect blend of southern charm and Yankee ingenuity.
Deacon wants no part of marriage and Macy is the ultimate matchmaker with a mission to make certain all of her clients get their happily ever after. If that means she may never get one of her own, then so be it.
Is Deacon the man to change that for Macy? Will there be a touch of Christmas magic for this unlikely pair?
I don’t read much contemporary romance but this book was well worth deviating from my usual historical romance titles.
I gave this quirky read 4.75 of 5.0 stars for storyline and character development and a sensual rating of 3 of 5 flames.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I have read and reviewed voluntarily.
