Enjoy eight historical romances from bestselling authors, featuring dashing, roguish dukes who are willing to risk it all to get the lady their heart desires. When these powerful, bold men take a chance on love, nothing can stop them.

by Darcy Burke

The Forbidden Duke helps ruined Eleanor find a second chance for happiness. What will she say when she learns of the role he played in her downfall?

My Thoughts: I love this series. I read most of them as ARCs, but I actually own this one. The whole series is well written and a joy to read. Be prepared to get HOOKED!

by Grace Callaway

A spinster and rake join forces to catch a murderer. Wills clash and passion flares; will they risk all for love—before it’s too late?

My Thoughts: I had not read this book previously but really enjoyed it. This story is among my favorites in this collection. With a full dose of mystery and love this one isn’t to be missed.

by Lila DiPasqua

The only woman Leo, Duke of Mont-Marly, has ever yearned for is the adorably unconventional beauty who got away. Suzanne creates and selling matchsticks, elixirs for the ill…and is still so damned alluring. Leo is determined to give her a Christmas beyond her wildest imagination…

My Thoughts: I own every title in this series and have truely enjoyed this author’s take on the fairytales they are based on. If you like retelling of fairytale classics this story is for you.

by Shana Galen

Pursued by assassins, Princess Vivienne of Glynaven escapes to England. The Duke of Wyndover aids her, but is he the man she’s been waiting for?

My Thoughts: I always enjoy reading this author’s books. I seem to have missed this one previously. It was one of only two in this collection that wasn’t a re-read for me.

A chase through the English countryside by would be assassins makes this a very interesting read.

Previously Featured the two story collection by Shana Galen, A Royal Christmas.

by Caroline Linden

The Duke of Wessex realizes he’s about to marry the wrong woman when he meets his bride’s sister…and the wedding may become a scandal.

My Thoughts: This would be scandal turns into quite the love story. This is a must read book.

by Erica Monroe

A governess entering into a marriage of convenience with a duke gets more than she bargained for, as he’s also a spy for the crown.

My Thoughts: When I originally read this book in 2015 I was having a difficult two months in October and November because the store I had worked for the last 9 years was busy closing it’s doors. I therefore could not seem to quickly read anything or enjoy much of what I read.

I did finish this book but it wasn’t, originally my cup of tea. The characters were interesting but just didn’t hold my interest, however after re-reading it I would give it a 4.0 star rating rather than the 3.25 stars that I originally rated this read.

It was much better with no stress involved.

by Christina McKnight

The Duke of Montrose has only one choice: find a wealthy heiress to wed. When his quest brings him to Lady Lucianna, he can’t deny that he wants her for more than just her dowry.

My Thoughts:

This is book #2 of this new series and every bit as good as book #1.

Lucianna actually witnessed the death of her friend. With the aid of her friends Edith and Ophelia she means to bring that man to justice. Now her father intends to marry her off to the same man who is responsible for her friend’s death.
In the mean time these three friends intend to bring down every scoundrel in London with their anonymous Mayfair Confidential articles in the London Gazette.

Roderick Crofton, the Duke of Montrose’ father had lost the family’s fortune to unscrupulous characters. He now needs to put the family’s accounts to rights by marrying a wealthy heiress.
A mistaken article written by these three has ruined his chances with his betrothed. Now he need a new solution to his problem.

Can these two adversaries make a match that will save them both?

This book is filled with bits of mystery, mayhem and love. I gave it 4.5 of 5 stars for storyline and characterization and a sensual rating of 3 of 5 flames.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book to read from the author via Bookfunnel. This in no way affected my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

The unflappable Duke of Ravenwood meets his match in this rollicking New York Times best-seller!

I have yet to read any of the Duke’s of War Series that I didn’t enjoy, this book included. If you have never read an Erica Ridley book, put it off no longer.

$0.99 In E-Book Format

Available at:

Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | iBooks

My Overall Thoughts:

I really liked this anthology.

Unfortunately I didn’t realize when I pre-ordered this collection I already owned and had read most of them.
I had read ARCs of a couple of them and I owned the majority in individual titles.
Overall I enjoyed re-reading them though and refreshing my memory of these well written novels.
The collection for the most part consists of full length novels with a couple of longer novella length stories.
In addition to having pre-ordered this collection I received a complimentary digital ARC to read for this release blitz.
Overall I gave this collection 4.25 of 5.0 stars for storylines and characterization and a sensual rating on most of the titles of 3.75 of 5.0 flames.
Some of these books are more heated in nature than others so be prepared.
A sincere thank you goes to the publicist for providing me with the ARC.

My Review appears on Amazon as a Verified Purchase.
