My Review of
A Match Made in Mistletoe
A Regency Novella
by Anna Campbell
A mistletoe wish…
All her life, Serena Talbot has been in love with the handsome boy next door, Sir Paul Garside. She always eagerly looks forward to Paul’s visit to her family over the Festive Season, even if he usually brings along his dark, sardonic friend Lord Hallam. This year, Serena is determined that Paul’s kiss under the mistletoe will lead to a proposal. Even if she has to enlist every ounce of Christmas magic she can get her hands on to make that happen.
But the mistletoe gets it wrong!
When Serena slips a sprig of mistletoe from the village kissing bough under her pillow, it’s not Paul who turns up in her dreams as the man she’s going to marry, but brooding, intense, annoying Giles Farraday, Marquess of Hallam. Still more annoying, once everyone arrives for the annual Christmas house party, she can’t stop watching Giles, and thinking about Giles. And kissing Giles, whether there’s mistletoe about or not. Now Paul wants to marry her, and Giles wants to seduce her–and Serena has a bone to pick with the old wives who came up with all this superstitious nonsense in the first place.
A Christmas of confusion lies ahead! Will mistletoe magic lead the way to a happy ending?
After being infatuated with her brother’s friend and their neighbor Paul all of her life our heroine Serena finds herself drawn to an entirely different man.
How is it possible that she could be attracted to this person she has previously found not at all to her liking?
You must read this delightful Christmas novella to unearth the final outcome.
After an Amazon Glitch with this book and multiple tries and failures to be able to get more than the cover, title page and Before you leave the author kindly had her assistant send the book to me.
It was almost a week after Ms. Campbell’s assistant sent it before I actually found time to squeeze it into my schedule but I could not put it down. I finished it in short order and loved it.
The characters are well developed and the storyline very well thought out. I would give this novella a 4.5 out of 5 star rating for storyline and characterization and 4 of 5 flames for heat.
Thank you to Anna Campbell for helping me and going far beyond her responsibility to ensure I received a readable copy of this book.
Hopefully the problem at Amazon is now resolved because this book is well worth your time.

Christmas is a time for miracles, or so Kate Fenster, the youngest of the Fenster siblings, hopes when she heads to Ireland to confront her absentee bridegroom.
The Earl of Blarney had called in her childhood promise to marry him. It had been a lighthearted bargain, she would marry him if he let her ride his prized stallion Diablo. Charmed but not quite trusting the silver-tongued Irish lord, Kate sets him to prove he is more interested in her heart than her dowry.
The courtship takes a dark turn when, just hours after their wedding, her bridegroom is called home to Ireland and refuses to return to her in England or allow her to come to him in Ireland. Kate, tired of waiting, must travel to another country to face her husband — and the fact that everything he had told her was only half-true. Now it is her turn to prove herself to him. To prove that she is the right wife for him. The one who will stand by his side while he rebuilds his lands, regains the trust of his people, and keeps his mad, fey sister safe.
