How to Marry a Royal Highlander
(Renegade Royal book 4)
By Vanessa Kelly
Illegitimate yet thoroughly irresistible, the Renegade Royals are leaving behind their careers as daring spies for the greatest adventure of all…
At sixteen, Alasdair Gilbride, heir to a Scottish earldom, fled the Highlands and an arranged betrothal. Ten years later, Alasdair must travel home to face his responsibilities. It’s a task that would be much easier without the distracting presence of the most enticing woman he’s ever met…
After one escapade too many, Eden Whitney has been snubbed by the ton. The solution: rusticating in the Scottish wilderness, miles from all temptation. Except, of course, for brawny, charming Alasdair. The man is so exasperating she’d likely kill him before they reach the border—if someone else weren’t trying to do just that. Now Eden and Alasdair are plunging into a scandalous affair with his life and her reputation at stake—and their hearts already irreparably lost…
I love reading Vanessa Kelly books whether they are written as Vanessa Kelly or as V.K. Sykes(a shared authorship with her husband). This particular novel is in my favorite genre, Historical Romance, and with my favorite subject, Highlanders.
It’s hard to believe that How to Marry a Royal Highlander is book four (and two novellas) in Vanessa Kelly’s Renegade Royals Series but amazingly enough it is. I give this book 4 ½ stars. I really enjoyed the read. As usual Vanessa Kelly has written a winner.
I Highly recommend this to anyone who loves Historical Romance and Highlanders!

By Sabrina Jeffries
(The Sinful Suitors Book 1)
The first novel in the Sinful Suitors series by New York Times bestselling author Sabrina Jeffries! At St. George’s Club, guardians conspire to keep their unattached sisters and wards out of the clutches of sinful suitors. Which works fine…except when the sinful suitors are members!
American artist Jeremy Keane refuses to return home and take over his father’s business. He’d much rather sample bevvies of beauties abroad, in search of a model for the provocative masterpiece he’s driven to paint. When he meets Lady Yvette Barlow at a London wedding, he realizes she’s perfect for his work—and determines to capture the young heiress’s defiant spirit and breathtaking sensuality on canvas.
No stranger to scandal, Yvette agrees to be Keane’s subject—in exchange for his help gaining entry to the city’s brothels he knows intimately, so she can track a missing woman and solve a family mystery. But when their practical partnership leads to lessons in the art of sinning, can they find a bold and lasting love?
This is the first book in a new series from an author whose work I absolutely love.
I love the idea of this series! Brothers and guardians starting a club to marry off their sisters/wards while trying to keep scoundrels and fortune hunters away from them – especially when most of them are scoundrels themselves. Talk about the cat watching the canary or the fox in the hen house, WOW!! As usual Sabrina Jeffries has written a winner. I highly recommend the read!
